About Us

Thank you for visiting Found Who I Am! We are teenagers who have been found in Christ. The goal of our blog is to encourage you in your walk with Christ through encouraging posts, videos, and interviews. However, no matter what we say, please go back to the Bible and check for yourself to see if it matches up with what God says. The Bible verse that this website is founded upon is: “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” -Galatians 2:20 NIV

This is the verse sums up what it is to be a Christian. We must die to self. The great thing about it is that he who loses his life for Christ’s sake will find it! (Matthew 10:39)

We hope our personal experiences and life-lessons will help you in your walk with Christ!

Sara

Hello, my name is Sara! I am fifteen years old, I am a black-mold fighter, and I like to read, write, act, make jewelry. Having adventures is a favorite pastime, most of which tend to be with my family, whether it’s a long hike up a mountain or a fun new board game. I also write for Th!nk magazine, a free, online, Christian magazine: mythinkmag.wordpress.com. One of my favorite Scriptures is Psalm 34:5: “Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.”

Sydney

Hey there! My name is Sydney, and I am one of the newest writers on this blog. I lead a small Bible study, and in my spare time, I like to read or do something creative. One of my favorite Scriptures is Colossians 1:13: “For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves.” Hope you enjoy looking around and thanks for visiting!

Former writers:

Christopher

I am Christopher, and at the ripe old age of nineteen, I’m the oldest of this group! I really enjoy writing for the blog because it makes me spend time digging into Scripture. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer and piano (I play for my church). Joshua 24:15 is my favorite Scripture verse (right now!): “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” I hope that this blog encourages you to stand up for Christ and strive to know Him better.

Callie

My name is Callie and I am sixteen years old. I am homeschooled along with my three amazing siblings. Some of my favorite things to do are studying in God’s word, reading, and writing. My favorite Bible verse is, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

Macy

Hi! I’m Macy, a bondservant of Jesus Christ and saved by His amazing grace. I’m sixteen years old and I’m homeschooled along with my three sweet, younger sisters. I really enjoy studying God’s Word, playing games as a family, playing the piano, and writing. I also love seeing how God works through each and every circumstance! He is so good! One of my favorite Bible verses is: “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Collin

I’m Collin, an 18 year old homeschooler. I play the piano,  ukulele, and many sports. I’m far from perfect, and that’s why I love to share (through this blog) what God is showing me in His word. Although I have many favorite Bible verses, if I had to choose one it would be Romans 12:12, Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” I believe that prayer is the most powerful tool we are given as Christians and it should not be taken for granted. Toodles!

Solomon

I’m Solomon. I’m 17 years old. I really like to work on our farm and take care of our animals. I also milk goats every morning and really love it. I play soccer and a little basketball (even though I am awful at it).

Jesus changed my life, and I desire for all people to know Jesus as their Savior as well. I am very blessed to be a part of this blog, and it has helped me greatly just in writing. I have an overwhelming sense of gratitude towards Jesus for what he did for us on the cross, and I see this blog as just one way that I can glorify him for what He did.[Romans 12:1] My favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6-7: “Be anxious for nothing, but in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be known unto God. And the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” I am so amazed that Jesus saved us, and I want the whole world to know about him. It is a great ministry, and I hope and pray that people are saved by it. But above all, I pray that Jesus is lifted up and glorified.

Wyatt

I am Wyatt. I am between Christopher and Collin, at the age of 19. I love to read and write, and I love art and music. I love origami, drawing, painting, and I sing and play the violin. I’m working on the guitar, banjo, and ukulele. Most of all I love Jesus. He loved me even though I am a sinner. I may make mistakes, He saved me by grace. I want to grow up to be the next Chris Tomlin or TobyMac. I am excited to be sharing my life and thoughts with you, and I hope that we can somehow impact your life.

One of my favorite bible verses is 1 Timothy 4:12, which says: “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” And it is what I strive to do every day.

      Hi Snowdonlily,

Thank you so much for writing! That is so encouraging and amazing to see how God has used the blog to cross a huge ocean! And homeschoolers rock. 🙂 Keep seeking the Lord– He promises to be found by those who seek Him. The Christian life is a marathon to be run with perseverance…stay strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Praise God that He has equipped us with all we need to live a godly life and that He promises to give us the strength we need…”For when I am weak, then I am strong” (2 Corinthians 12:9-10).
